Join artist Gonçalo Mabunda (Mozambique) for an artist talk about his work that explores the collective memory of his country and its transition from war to the absence of violence and ultimately to peace. Gonçalo was commissioned to transform weapons of war such as AK47s, rocket launchers, and pistols into objects of beauty which were used in Mozambique’s truth and reconciliation journey.
